Notice the gap between reach and trust

Your game scoreboard shows followers, cash, trust and energy. Those numbers can move in different directions. A post that attracts attention may also create a problem for the relationship you are building.

Think about an imagined brand whose post makes a stronger claim than it can support. A striking opening may get a reaction. When a follower questions it, the next decision becomes whether to clarify, correct or defend it. What evidence would you want before choosing?

Respond to the actual concern

Connected chapters include follower messages, partnership choices and later consequences. Read what the person is asking, rather than treating every critical response as the same event. Consider what you know, what needs checking and what you can explain clearly.

In real communication, an acknowledgement should be specific enough to be useful. For example, “We’ve corrected the delivery date in the post” answers a concrete mistake more clearly than a vague promise to do better. That is an illustrative communication example, not an option guaranteed to appear in the game.

Run a trust-first chapter

1. State the promise your character or brand makes to followers.
2. Before each post or deal, ask whether it fits that promise and what could reasonably be misunderstood.
3. Read both the immediate result and the later consequence.
4. At the end of three posts, compare trust with followers and cash. Decide which trade-off you would repeat.

Low energy also matters: publishing repeatedly uses resources. Take the available recovery turn when needed, reading the displayed costs. A sustainable career needs more than a sequence of attention spikes.
